Journeys toward lives free from harmful sexual behaviour
About Safe

SAFE IS OUR NAME FOR GOOD REASON

Our goal is to have a safe community for our children - one thats free from harmful sexual behaviours. We work not only to stop individuals harmful sexual behaviour, but ultimately to keep future generations safe too.

For almost two decades, our team has been providing specialised treatment services to those with harmful sexual behaviour and their family and whanau, as well as education and prevention services to the wider New Zealand community through our education and training services .

SAFE is a not for profit, incorporated and charitable trust. We are funded primarily by Child Youth and Family Services (CYFS), the Ministry of Health, and the Department of Corrections. In addition, we also rely on support from various trusts and grants within the community, and individual donations to continue to deliver our work towards a safer community for one and all.

We have a set of beliefs and values that guide all we do here at SAFE.
